Marabeth's Well

Hello Family and Friends,

As you all know, we are nearing the date that I delivered sweet Marabeth a year ago. (November 19) We continue to have a desire for her legacy to live on through serving others. This year we have had the opportunity to provide goodie bags for Children’s Hospital, provide preemie size blankets to the NICU, as well as help out other families who have had babies in the NICU. We hope and pray that God continues to make clear the direction he would like us to go, through the trials that we have been through. Not only did Marabeth open our eyes to many service opportunities, but Ryleigh has as well.

Some close friends of ours helped get a fund started in honor of Marabeth through Holden Uganda. Holden Uganda is a non-profit foundation that provides water for African communities through digging wells. You can read more about it here… http://www.holdenuganda.org/donate

We would love to raise enough money to provide a well in Africa! This would be a wonderful way to honor Marabeth! After the well is built, we plan to include Marabeth’s name on the outside, with information about her. We know this is a busy time of year, with lots of holiday festivities. If you are able, we would love for you to donate money towards building her well. You can donate on the Holden Uganda website listed above. All you have to do is click on Donate, and then from there scroll down to Marabeth’s name. It costs $2.000 to build a well. We have about $1.400 dollars left to raise! We would love to partner with you in making this happen! Every little bit helps! We appreciate those of you who have already donated money!

As always, we appreciate the love and support you have provided in our lives. We are so excited about adding to our family in a couple of months. December 21 is when I am due, but I am sure she has a different day planned to come. We will be announcing her name soon. Blessings to all of you!
