Where Did July Go?

Seriously, where did July go? I feel like the days just keep getting faster and faster!  Ryleigh is now a little 5 month 10 pounder, which is so exciting. Some of her newborn clothes are starting to fit a little snug. Does anyone else get attached to baby clothes? I always feel a little sad when the girls outgrow something that I thought was so cute on them. It's funny looking at clothes now that once fit Aubrey.  I am seeing a little more Aubrey in Ryleigh than what I was seeing in the beginning, but they are still very different from each other too. Ryleigh is beginning to smile at us now when we smile at her. It really warms my heart. Her favorite place to be when she is not sleeping is in the Baby Bjorn with me.  Her sleeping patterns are getting pretty predictable too, which I like. She is a definite thumb sucker, which is just the sweetest thing ever. I know I will be paying for it later, but right now I am just enjoying it. Many people ask me what special things I have to do with Ryleigh, given that she was such a preemie. At this stage, there are not a whole lot of differences than what I dealt with with Aubrey. We will start seeing the Developmental Pediatrician in the Fall. As of now, Ryleigh's eyes, and hearing are all on track. She is no longer on oxygen, which is wonderful. Once the Fall starts, we will have to be extremely cautious due to RSV season. We will start the shots in October. Mainly we just want to make sure and keep Ryleigh healthy. She is at high risk to sickness, due to her weak immune system. Overall, we have felt very blessed with where Ryleigh is developmentally. We hope and pray we continue to stay on the right track.
Aubrey is such a little girl now. The other day she picked up a shirt from my closet, held it up to her body and said, "Ahh, cute." I thought it was so funny! She is also so sweet with her baby dolls. She will burp her baby, put her baby in the bed, or feed her baby. She does attempt to nurse her baby, which is quite a sight!  She also will recite her whole name, Aubrey Lynn Cox! I love it when she takes her play keys to the door, and acts like she is unlocking it.
There has been a lot of excitment here lately in the Cox Household, check out the pics below to see what we have been up to.

The other big news is we said goodbye to the Jetta

And hello to the Kia Borrego

I was a little sad to say goodbye to the Jetta, considering all the good memories I had in that car. I wasn't sad for long though. It's nice having a little more space now! I know there will be lots of good memories to come in the Borrego too!
